History of the home.

Nestled in the heart of the Greta Valley, Red Gum Retreat was thoughtfully crafted in around 2023 as a tribute to the local area. Designed to blend contemporary comfort with the rugged beauty of the surrounding valley, the home stands on a foundation rich with character and connection to place.

Much of the build draws directly from the land itself. The warm timber features throughout the home were sourced from local red gum, celebrating the region’s iconic trees. The stonework that frames the fireplaces was hand-selected from nearby Fifteen Mile Creek, only a short stroll from the house, adding a touch of natural history to every corner.
